When you register for Kooblr, we collect:

2.2 Face Verification Data
To prevent fake accounts and ensure safety, we use face verification technology.
What we do
- Capture a face photo to verify you're a real person
- Encrypt and store the photo securely
- Issue a "Verified" badge upon success
- Auto-delete after 2 years of inactivity
What we don't do
- Facial recognition in other photos
- Share with third parties
- Use for advertising or marketing
- Show the photo publicly on your profile
2.3 Automatically Collected Information
When you use the Service, we automatically collect device info (type, OS, version), IP address, browser type, usage data, city-level location, and cookie/tracking data.
2.4 Information From Third Parties
If you connect social accounts (Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.), we collect your public profile info only. We never post on your behalf without permission, and never access your private messages. You can disconnect anytime in Settings.
3. How We Use Your Information
Providing the Service
Account management, matching you with connections, displaying your profile, facilitating messaging, personalising your feed, and recommending communities, events, and projects.
Improving the Service
Understanding user behaviour, developing new features, fixing bugs, analysing usage patterns, and A/B testing designs.
Safety & Security
Detecting fraud, spam, and abuse; enforcing Terms of Service; investigating misconduct; protecting users from harassment; and verifying authenticity.
Communications
Service updates, support responses, match notifications, and marketing (you can opt-out anytime).
Legal Compliance
Complying with applicable laws, responding to legal requests (court orders, subpoenas), and protecting our rights and property.
5. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service.
Upon account deletion:
Records of policy violations and legal compliance data may be retained as required by law even after account deletion.

Access & Update
Update your info anytime via Settings → Edit Profile, or request a copy of your data at privacy@kooblr.com.
Privacy Settings
Control profile visibility, who can connect or message you, post visibility, activity status, and location sharing. Access via Settings → Privacy & Safety.
Marketing Opt-out
Click "Unsubscribe" in any marketing email, or go to Settings → Notifications → Marketing: OFF. Essential service emails (security alerts, updates) are always sent.
Cookies
Manage cookies via your browser settings or Settings → Privacy → Cookie Preferences. Blocking all cookies may affect functionality.
Data Deletion
Delete your account at Settings → Account → Delete Account, or request specific data deletion at privacy@kooblr.com.

8. Children's Privacy
Kooblr is not intended for users under 13 years old. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe we have, contact us at privacy@kooblr.com and we will delete it immediately.
Users aged 13–17 can use Kooblr with restricted features:
- Cannot message users over 18 without parent approval
- Limited profile visibility
- Enhanced safety monitoring
- Parent/guardian consent required for certain features
9. International Data Transfers
Kooblr is based in India. If you access the Service from outside India, your information may be transferred to and stored in India.
By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of your information to India and its processing in accordance with this Privacy Policy and Indian law. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for international transfers as required by applicable law.
